Whiz Bang Days ‘Shares the Love’ Campaign Promotes Robbinsdale Businesses
It might be hard to think about a summer festival right now, but if you’re on the Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days Committee that’s exactly what you’re doing.
Organizers planned to have their annual Halfway to Whiz Bang days event Jan. 31. But the event was canceled because of COVID-19.
However, the Whiz Bang Days Committee decided to launch a contest that would promote local businesses.
“We’re encouraging everybody to purchase at least a minimum of $20 gift card,” explained Pam Scheiller, secretary of the Whiz Bang Days Committee. “Then hash tag it on our social media of #wbdsharethelove. On Feb. 14, we’re going to enter all those people into a drawing. We’re going to award them some gift certificates to different businesses in Robbinsdale.”
Right now Whiz Bang Days in Robbinsdale is scheduled to be held July 8 through July 11.
