“We just trying to make it so that a lot of the businesses in our community are able to participate. We have new businesses such as Hy-Vee that has just located in Robbinsdale, and they’ve made a huge donation this year,” said Whiz Bang Days President Amanda Roberg.
Organizers are launching a program called “Cultivate the Arts.”
“It’s a program where there’s going to be a lot of youth that are going to be able to learn about different types of activities, and crafts in our community, and from different cultures as well,” explained Roberg.
Tickets for the block party are $9. Advanced admission is $10. At the door kids 12 and under are free. Tickets are for admission only and includes tax and service fees. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event, cash only.
