Weekend Showcase: Hopkins Center for the Arts’ Member Show
The Hopkins Center for the Arts will exhibit 127 works from more than 70 member artists in their current show. From pen and ink to mixed media, there’s a variety of work on display from now to September 19.
Normally, members’ art is displayed in the spring.
“It is an exhibition that typically takes place in March and April. but with things as they are this year it got pushed out a little bit,” said Jim Clark, from Hopkins Center for the Arts. “We were really excited about the level of participation which has been great. It uses all of our gallery spaces.”
This is a non-juried show, but it was judged for awards, so you’ll see additional labels for those honors. However, people can still vote for their favorite to win the people’s choice award.
