Wayzata Schools Increase Cleanings, Develop Online Plans
The superintendent of Wayzata Area Schools says the district is monitoring the spread of coronavirus. The school sent out an email to parents on Monday.
The email said custodial staff are cleaning buildings more often and focusing on sanitizing frequently used surfaces like doorknobs and desks.
Teachers are also developing online learning plans in case school has to be closed. Staff members are replacing in-person meetings with teleworking.
Of course, the email also reiterated the need for staff and students to actively wash their hands multiple times each day.
