Two Teens Injured in Robbinsdale Parking Lot Shooting
Robbinsdale police are investigating a weekend shooting that left two teens injured.
Two 17-year-olds sustained gunshot wounds with one in critical condition, police said. The other victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.
According to police, officers were dispatched to an apartment parking lot in the 4200 block of 46th Avenue North at 12:43 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Arriving officers found the two teens, who were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Police searched the area with K9 units after setting up a perimeter, but found no suspects.
However, detectives located and interviewed one “person of interest” in the case.
As of Monday, no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting
This was one of two shooting incidents in the northwest suburbs this weekend. One man died and another person was “seriously wounded” after a Dec. 7 shooting in Brooklyn Park.
