Two Arrested in Brooklyn Center After Carjackers Lead Police on Chase
Police arrested two people after a carjacking ended in a crash in Brooklyn Center.
According to Brooklyn Park Police, a woman reported that two men with a gun had stolen her car in the 5600 block of 69th Avenue North.
Soon after, Brooklyn Center Police located the suspects in the stolen vehicle near Brooklyn Boulevard and Highway 100.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects attempted to flee the scene and crashed.
One teenager was arrested near the scene of the crash. Another man was located with the help of a neighboring police agencies, a K9 unit and a helicopter.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
