Travail Restaurant Offering Haunting Halloween Dining Experience
Those looking for a howling good time this Halloween season can find plenty of it at Travail in Robbinsdale.
The downtown restaurant known for its eclectic dining experiences is offering another Halloween dining experience in its basement bar through Nov. 2.
Mike Brown, Travail’s chef and owner, said this year is different with all new surprises and unique food and drink. He said visitors can expect haunted theatrics and a unique blend of plates and cocktails. Non-alcoholic options are also available.
Brown got in the spirit of Halloween and dressed up as a wolf for the interview.
“Depending on the night, a lot of death, a lot of murder in the basement. It’s just part of the show– don’t worry about that. It’s different every week, we try new things. And if you’re into theatrics, this is the place to be,” Brown said.
Tickets for the experience start at $134 a person. That includes drinks, frights and a multi-course tasting menu. Brown said each night there are two experiences each day– one at 5:45 and one at 8 p.m. He recommends getting a ride to and from the experience.
Leaders encourage guests to wear costumes. More details, including a schedule and location to purchase tickets are available on Travail’s website.
