Three Rivers Park District Closes Play Areas
As part of the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Three Rivers Park District have closed all buildings including restrooms and drinking fountains.
Facilities like play areas, campgrounds, group camps, golf courses and disc golf are also closed.
Parks and trails will remain open to the public, as long as the social and physical distancing of 6 feet between others are followed.
The Park District says visitors to come prepared to not have access to restrooms, drinking water or trash disposal.
Visitors should also leave no trace. This means they’ll need to carry their trash out of the park for disposal at home. That includes picking up after your dog.
