Suspect Arrested in Shooting Near New Hope Gas Station
One person was arrested in New Hope on Tuesday after firing gunshots near a gas station, police said.
According to New Hope police, officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Speedway station near the intersection of 62nd Avenue and West Broadway.
Witnesses told CCX News they heard a popping sound around noon on Tuesday.
Responding officers later arrested a man at a nearby apartment complex.

Several law enforcement agencies from neighboring departments maintained a presence at the gas station into the afternoon.
Detectives with the New Hope Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident.
