State Patrol Stresses Safety at Twin Cities Auto Show
Alongside all the fast and furious cars at the Twin Cities Auto Show, Minnesota State Troopers brought along a sobering example of what happens when something goes wrong on the road. Sgt. Scott Wahl says drivers should avoid any distracted driving and slow down to arrive where they need to be safely.
“There’s a lot of fast and fun cars,” said Wahl. “But one of our primary goals here is to talk about distracted driving, impaired driving, wearing seat belts, reducing speed, of course with winter we’ve had, slow down and get where you need to go safely.”
The State Patrol says texting and driving is a dangerous epidemic that needs to be addressed.
The Twin Cities Auto Show runs through March 17 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
