Standout Student: MCA’s Dao Atomsa
Maranatha Christian Academy Senior Dao Atomsa has an incredible resume. His accomplishments include athletic involvement and leadership activities. The standout student aspires to be a neurosurgeon.
“Learning about how nervous cells work and the nervous system, that’s just something that fascinated me from the get-go,” said Atomsa.
The Brooklyn Park native is president of the National Honor Society and captain of the varsity soccer team. He also teaches Sunday school classes. Faith is essential to him.
“Just having the Holy Spirit by my side. Jesus, the Lord, just the whole Trinity watching over me, guiding my footsteps as I walk through my life. It’s just the biggest thing,” he said.
Atomsa says he wants to change the world by helping others. He’d like to start a nonprofit and build churches in Ethiopia.
