Shoppes at Arbor Lakes Hosts Girls Night Out to Benefit Breast Cancer Nonprofit
For the eleventh year, the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes will host Girls Night Out to benefit the nonprofit Hope Chest for Breast Cancer.
“The Hope Chest for Breast Cancer is a nonprofit organization that helps women that are struggling with breast cancer,” explained Katie Welch Len, style consultant with the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. “It helps by providing meals, transportation and even childcare.”
Shoppers purchase a ticket in advance for $10 or at the door for $15. They receive special items from participating stores and then get to visit stores to fill up a “passport” for a chance to win prizes.
Participating businesses offer incentives for visiting their stores, and even special deals. Olfactory Scent Studio is offering special promotions.
“We do know it effects almost everybody,” said Sue Brady, owner of Olfactory Scent Studio. “If it hasn’t affected you personally, it’s affected someone you do know. It’s a small way we can give back to the community.”
Girls Night Out will be Thursday, Oct. 3. To learn more, click here.
