SEA School All-In for Minnesota Twins
Twins fever is running high, and the SEA school in Golden Valley is celebrating. The school declared Friday “MN Twins Day.” Kids were encouraged to wear team gear, and some teachers like Jody Durand went even further in their classrooms. Original Homer Hankys, Twins Wheaties boxes, hats, rugs, lamps, banners, murals – Jody’s classroom has it all. Jody remembers making a banner and marching with it up and down the street when the team won the Series when she was a kid.
“It’s fun to still now be able to share that passion and the joy that I have for baseball and the Minnesota Twins with my 5th graders,” said Jody.
The one hitch? Jody says her class isn’t too sure about her husband. He’s a Yankees fan.
