Robbinsdale Keeps Pumps Ready for Flooding
The city of Robbinsdale is continuing its efforts to keep Crystal Lake from reaching flood levels. It’s been a battle since springtime.
Robbinsdale officials rented pumps last spring when the lake level reached a high stage. The machines were only supposed to be in place for a month or so, but because of all the rain we had, the city will continue renting them until the first freeze.
In the future, the city plans to look at buying its own equipment.
