Whiz Bang Days: Robbinsdale Brewery Celebrates Community
Wicked Wort’s annual Whiz Bang Days parties are always a big draw. Owner Steve Carlyle says the events are held to celebrate the community.
“We have our tent up, we’ll be doing the talent show for the Whiz Bang committee, after that the music comes on. Music will be going all day until the night, and we’ll have like 20 beers on tap,” said Carlyle.
Wicked Wort is breaking out four signature beers for the four-day festival.
“We’re putting the house IPA on. We’re going to leave it on because not all the time do we have an IPA,” said Carlyle.
Wicked Wort is donating part of the proceeds from the signature beers to the Firefighters Relief Fund.
“It’s just a good thing, they use it for a good purpose,” said Carlyle.
Whiz Bang After Dark party is Friday, July 12 at Wicked Work Brewing. Grilling outside begins at 4:30 p.m. Live music begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Wicked Wort Brewing Co. Outdoor Tent Party is Saturday, July 13. A talent show begins at 12 p.m. Live music begins at 2 p.m. and wraps up around 11 p.m.
