Robbin Gallery Reopens with Member Show
If you’ve had just about enough of online this and virtual that, good news. The Robbin Gallery in Robbinsdale has resumed their regular hours.
Back in early March the Robbin Gallery kicked off spring with their March Madness Members Show.
Then, the novel coronavirus shut down the gallery for about three months.
The March Madness show was still on the walls and not going anywhere, so rather than change up the exhibit before anyone really had a chance to see it, organizers thought they’d leave it up now that they are open.
“We have mixed media, we have some fiber art. We have some photography, oil painting water color, acrylics. I think if you’re thinking about getting into art, come and see something that might inspire you and enjoy and evening here at the gallery,” said Jeanne Johnson, Robbin Gallery President.
You have the rest of July to catch the members show which is very eclectic and chock full of talent from the most ardent artists of the Robbin Gallery community.
The gallery is requiring visitors to wear masks while in the gallery. For additional information on the gallery’s protocols or to review their COVID-19 preparedness plan.
Coming up in August, the gallery will exhibit their first new show since March. Leo Winstead will have an exhibition of his paintings beginning August 6. There is a reception and open house with the artist on Friday August 7 starting at 6 p.m.
