Rep. Dean Phillips Visits Zachary Lane Elementary
Representative Dean Phillips was in Plymouth Wednesday, talking to elementary students. He spoke at an event meant to build positivity between police and the community. Phillips told the students at Zachary Lane Elementary that if they work hard and have a good attitude, they can be whatever they want when they grow up.
“Every one of them has a dream,” said Phillips. “Every one has ambition and it’s our job as a community to ensure that they’re connected to people that believe in them. And I hope what they take away is the reality, the belief that they can do anything. Because they can.”
Phillips added that the kids already learned kindergarten what he thinks society needs to re-learn: Be nice to each other.
