PUPS, Fur-Ever Home Rescue To Host June 1 Pet Vaccine Clinic in Maple Grove
An opportunity to get your pets’ shots up to date is coming up in June in Maple Grove.
Pets Under Police Security (PUPS) and Fur-Ever Home Rescue are hosting a low-cost vaccine clinic.
The clinic will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at PUPS building in Maple Grove on Saturday, June 1. This is the third vaccine clinic and it’s available for anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Cassandra Boser, the animal containment coordinator with PUPS, said this clinic removes some barriers to access for pet owners.
“Most city ordinances require dogs and cats to be current on vaccines,” Boser said. “Having a source for owners to be able to get their pets vaccinated at a lower cost is always beneficial. The more pets that we can get vaccinated in the community, the better it is for everybody.”
The event is for both cats and dogs. Boser said it isn’t a good environment for reactive dogs. More details about vaccine prices and the event are available on the PUPS’ Facebook page.
Organizers ask that pet owners enter the event near the intersection of Cottonwood Ln. N and 91st Ave. N.
