Process Set to Fill Vacant Plymouth City Council Seat
The process is now set to fill the Ward 1 Plymouth City Council seat. The seat became vacant when longtime member Judy Johnson was appointed to the Metropolitan Council.
According to the process approved Tuesday night, applications will be due April 2. Finalist interviews will then take place April 16. The city council plans to appoint a new member April 23.
The appointee will fill of the remainder of Johnson’s term, which runs through the end of 2020.
