Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Will ‘Stuff the Truck’ for CEAP on March 10
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brooklyn Park is partnering with CEAP on a large food collection drive. On March 10, they will ask people to donate food to “stuff a truck” full of nonperishable items.
“We found that it works well for us to set up the parking lot so people can just come in one side and drop off,” explained senior pastor Chad Brekke. “We’ll have volunteers there to go to their cars and retrieve their items and being to stack them into the CEAP truck which will be parked right out front.”
Brekke says the event encourages donations and patrons staying socially distant. The truck will be parked right outside Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brooklyn Park.
This collection will help CEAP’s donation drive for FoodShare month.
