Police Say 25-Year-Old Shot in Crystal Should Survive
The Crystal Police Department says a man who was shot on Saturday, Feb. 21 is expected to survive his injuries.
According to a press release, police were dispatched at 12:21 a.m. to a shooting at a home in the 5300 block of 35th Avenue.
Arriving officers found a 25-year-old man outside the home with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
First responders took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
Two people who were present during the shooting were detained by police.
“While the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, this incident was not random and we do not believe there to be any danger to the public at this time,” the press release reads.
