Plymouth Woman Named St. Paul Winter Carnival’s ‘Klondike Kate’
‘Klondike Kate’ is an ambassador for the St. Paul Winter Carnival. This year’s Klondike Kate 2022 is Tina Hacker from Plymouth.
Hacker says it’s an honor to be Klondike Kate with “her saucy spiciness and her frivolity and fun.”
“There’s very few things in my life that I’ve really thought about and dreamt about continuously,” said Hacker. “I was actually very shocked when I won because you don’t normally win on your first try.”
Hacker was one of six contestants who competed for the title. She’ll perform at various events during this year’s St. Paul Winter Carnival.
