Plymouth Rockers Sing at State Fair
More than 65 men and women make up the Plymouth Rockers. This year they entertained crowds at the Minnesota State Fair.
David Halligan, director of the Plymouth Rockers, says the group likes playing the fair because of the large crowds.
“We have 60 members and they’re all volunteers, and we probably rehearse 30 times a year and we do about 30 sing outs. So, they’re very busy, and they’re excited about singing here at the fair,” said Halligan.
The group performed at the Cosgrove Stage, next to the Education Building. They sang a medley of tunes, American folk, gospel, and show tunes.
