Plymouth Police Build Connections at ‘Cocoa With a Cop’
Community members connected with police officers at Plymouth’s “Cocoa With a Cop” event Tuesday morning.
On a freezing day, a group of all ages gathered in the Plymouth Community Center to share treats with Plymouth officers.
Reserve officer Emy Peasha said it was a great opportunity to get to know people on a good day.
“At the basis of why we are here, because in the end, we all just want to help each other. And that’s most officers,” Peasha said. “Just want to help each other, help the community. Make it a good place to live, work and go to school! It’s that simple.”
Some also took it as a networking opportunity. Peasha said she talked with some neighbors looking to get into policing.
