Plymouth Hosts Happy Birthday America Parade
Independence Day festivities kicked off early in Plymouth this week.
Preschool and elementary-aged children rode bicycles, tricycles and more in a parade at the Hilde Performance Center in Plymouth. It’s the 10th year for the Happy Birthday America parade which usually draws in 300-plus people.
“It’s a great community event that brings a lot of families and friends together to celebrate the 4th of July,” said Alyssa Fram from Plymouth Parks and Rec. “We also wrap up with a musical performance. So it’s a fun way to come out and enjoy a great activity that’s free here in our community.”
After the parade, the AlphaBits Band played on the Hilde small stage.
