Plymouth Council Gets Preview of Dundee Proposal
The Plymouth City Council got its first look Tuesday night at plans that would dramatically alter a prominent site owned by Dundee Nursery along Highway 55.
A proposed development would replace Dundee with a combined apartment and office complex. An early proposal suggests 300 residential units and 65,000 square feet of medical office space. There would also be a 540 space garage which could be used for tenant parking and possibly as a park and ride.
Council members got an early look at the proposal at a study session Tuesday night. Before anything officially appears before the council, concerns such as traffic access would have to be addressed.
City staff stresses that these plans are very preliminary. Should they move forward, the public will have chances to weigh in.
