Plymouth Baker Creates 2 Good Cookies
If you can’t wait for Sweet Martha’s cookies at the Minnesota State Fair, try 2 Good Cookies at the Plymouth Farmers Market. Owner and baker Jessica Mikkelson says you’ll be asking “Martha who?”
“I started baking a few years ago for coworkers and friends for different events,” said Jessica Mikkelson. “I found that everyone really loved the cookies. It was fun bringing things to work and seeing people enjoy them.”
So Mikkelson decided to make her passion her business. She is selling her cookies this year at the Plymouth Farmers Market.
Mikkelson sells the cookies in packages of two with a price tag of $1. The cookies featured are always chocolate chip and then a “chip of the week” that rotates flavors. Flavors have included peanut butter, cinnamon, caramel and butterscotch.
Customers say the cookies are soft, chewy, and delicious.
“It’s actually been a really good experience,” said Mikkelson. “It’s awesome living so close and getting to know everyone in the community. People have been so so nice.”
