Pets and Kids Roll in Robbinsdale Parade
On Thursday night, pets and kids rode in the annual Pet and Wheel Parade in Robbinsdale.
Robbinsdale City Band members and Whiz Bang Days Ambassadors led the parade that started outside of city hall. Then the parade marched south through Robin Center to Shoreline Drive before ending at Sanborn Park.
Organizers encouraged participants to come dressed in their favorite costume. They could play an instrument, decorate a bike, bring a family pet, or create a float. Some participants earned prizes for largest pet, smallest pet, best costume, best decorated bike and best overall decoration or unit.
The Robbinsdale City Band entertained the crowd afterwards.
