Park Nicollet Plymouth Clinic Temporarily Designated As Respiratory Clinic
The Park Nicollet Plymouth location is one of four clinics being designated as respiratory care clinics. HealthPartners is making temporary changes for some clinics to stop the spread of COVID-19. So, if Plymouth is your primary clinic, you will have to see a doctor at another location.
Park Nicollet Plymouth Clinic Will See Patients With Respiratory Issues
The respiratory clinics will see patients have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, and sore throat, which require a face-to-face visit. HealthPartners is asking people with mild to moderate symptoms to recover at home, or schedule a phone or video visit with their clinician. People without respiratory symptoms, who require a face-to-face appointment, are being asked to go to one of the non-respiratory care sites.

HealthPartners Changes Clinic Hours
The health care organization is also making changes to clinic hours. Primary and specialty care clinics will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, temporarily suspending in-person visits before 8 a.m. after 5 p.m. Urgent care locations will continue operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
“These updates to our clinics’ schedules and services are going to help keep our patients healthy,” said Beth Averbeck, MD, senior medical director of primary care at HealthPartners. “By adjusting hours of operation and designating respiratory sites, we’re maximizing our resources to fight COVID-19 and helping reduce the possible spread of this contagious virus.”
