Parents Fundraise, Deliver $13K Timpani Set to Plymouth Middle School
The music department at Plymouth Middle School received an early Christmas gift thanks to parents. Over the course of one year, parents held fundraisers to get new timpani drums.
The previous drums were more than 50 years old and could no longer hold their pitch.
Families and students raised $13,000 for the new set.
Students will be able to showcase the new timpani drums at their spring concert in May.
