Outdoor Concert Planned in Central Park
Preparations are underway in Maple Grove for a first ever outdoor concert this Saturday in Central Park. The “Concert on the Lawn” will feature Gear Daddies, New Power Generation, The 4onthefloor and Kat Perkins. Organizers expect around 2,000 people. To prepare, the city of Maple Grove put some thought into parking for the event.
“We do have a free shuttle that will be available for our concert goers. We have three stops. Our main stop is the Maple Grove Transit by the Arbor Lakes shopping area. We will also have a shuttle stop near the government center parking lot and also near the library parking ramp off of Main Street,” said Aimee Peterson, Maple Grove’s superintendent of recreation.
