Osseo Creates Historical Preservation Committee
The Osseo City Council voted to create a Historical Preservation Committee at a recent meeting. The purpose of the committee is to review and advise the city council on matters related to historic areas of interest in the city.
The new committee will take the place of the Heritage Preservation Commission. The change better reflects the work of the group, officials said.
One project that the new committee will be working on is rehabilitation of the Osseo Water Tower. The structure was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
