Osseo Council Member Alicia Vickerman Resigns
There’s been another in a series of resignations from the city of Osseo — and this time it’s a council member.
Alicia Vickerman resigned from the Osseo City Council effective Tuesday, July 23.
She’s the second member of the council to resign this year.
Ashlee Mueller resigned from her seat in May and former Mayor John Hall was appointed as her replacement.
Meanwhile, City Administrator Riley Grams, as well as several other staff members have resigned in recent months.
Vickerman said she’s stepping away for pursue professional opportunities.
“It’s with difficulty but no hard feelings, whatsoever, anywhere,” she said. “And I’m just really excited for the future.”
Vickerman’s term runs through the end of the year. The council will appoint someone to serve out the rest of her term.
Residents can submit a letter of interest for the seat through Aug. 7.
