Open Painting at Brookview Golden Valley Open for All Artists
Artists gather every Friday at Brookview Golden Valley for Open Painting. The group has changed over the years, but some artists estimate a group of some sort has been gathering for more than 20 years.

“Everybody accepts everybody no matter what their degree is or how good they are or how bad they are. Nobody cares; we just like each other and it works,” said Mavis Moschogianis.
Before you find the room at Brookview Golden Valley, you’ll hear the laughter.
“Sometimes we don’t even paint, we just talk and laugh,” said one painter named Michelle. “We all help each other; we advise each other,”
Michelle describes Open Painting as “a very special place.”
