One Arrested After Shooting at Brooklyn Center Transit Center
A man is in police custody after a shooting on Tuesday at the Brooklyn Center Transit Center on Tuesday, March 26.
Officers from the Metro Transit and Brooklyn Center Police Departments responded to a shots-fired call around 12:30 p.m.
Investigators say someone fired a single round, but no one was hit.
An adult male fled the scene before police officers arrived.
Police located and arrested the alleged shooter a short time later and recovered a handgun.
According to police, preliminary findings suggest an altercation between two people led to the shooting.
Police booked the supect at the Hennepin County Jail while charges are pending.
