Nonprofits and Churches Prepare to Fill Summer Food Gap

The last week of school is here, which means nonprofits and churches are preparing to fill the gap in feeding kids who usually receive free or reduced price lunches. Volunteers at Brooklyn United Methodist Church plan to open their door to provide lunches to any students who need them on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting June 11th.
