New Single-Family Homes Proposed for New Hope
A new single-family housing development built on vacant land isn’t something you see very often in suburbs like New Hope or Crystal.
However, the city of New Hope is considering allowing 32 detached single-family homes in a subdivision called Windsor Ridge. The houses would be built on city-owned vacant land that’s north of the New Hope Ice Arena.
The development would include split-entry, two-story and rambler-style homes. A developer says the houses would sell for between $350,000 and $420,000.
Neighbors did express concern about cutting down trees and train noise during a public hearing.
The New Home Planning Commission did recommend approval of the project.
