New Hope police are still searching for a missing girl named Zaria Hill. Police report the 14-year-old girl was last seen at her mother’s home in New Hope Sunday.
“She either got lured out of the house or somebody has her,” says Baca Seva, the girl’s father.
Hill believes Zaria is with somebody she knows. He says Zaria was last seen on Sunday night when she was doing laundry in the basement of her mother’s home. When Zaria’s mother awoke Monday morning, her daughter was missing.
Word of Zaria’s disappearance has spread. New Hope police, however, have no credible leads at this time.
“Unfortunately once word of this spread, there’s a lot of stories and accusations that have surfaced,” says Capt. Scott Slawson with the New Hope Police Department. “We sift through those pretty carefully to find something that might be credible. To this point, we have no credible information.”
Zaria Hill is five feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has curly brown hair that was possibly in a ponytail. Police say she was last seen wearing black pants and an orange shirt and carrying a black backpack.
