New Hope Police Search for Armed Robber
New Hope police are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery at Chanticlear Pizza, located at 9428 36th Avenue. Police say a man with a gun walked into the pizza shop Tuesday night around 6:40 p.m. and demanded money.
“He displayed a handgun and proceeded to rob the store,” said Capt. Scott Slawson with the New Hope Police Department. “There was a loss of money. We searched the area, but no arrest has been made.”
Police won’t say precisely how much money was taken. No one was hurt.
Investigators are still working on a description of the criminal. They do, however, know the robber is an adult male. Police are also trying to determine if other people are involved.
