New Hope Country Kitchen Restaurant Closes After 40-plus Years in Business
New Hope Country Kitchen Restaurant Closes After Decades-long Run
A longtime family restaurant in New Hope has closed its doors. The Country Kitchen restaurant has been a staple in New Hope since 1977.
The owner recently closed after selling the restaurant. Owner Kevin Tiffany posted a note outside the restaurant saying after four decades, “it is time to step back and take a breath.”
Tiffany took over the New Hope gathering spot in 1980.
“Country Kitchen has been a lot of people’s daily or weekly routines for years and has created a lot of memories. I realize that my decision affects a lot of you, who have been not only guests but have become our friends. These connections make moving on that much more difficult,” said Tiffany.
A new restaurant brand will take over the location, according to the sign on the door. There is no official word yet as to what restaurant will move into the now vacant space.
