New Food Options in Plymouth
Three catering companies are merging to form a new company in Plymouth. Vesuvio’s Italian Catering owners, Pasquale and Cathy Di Maio, are expanding their unique specialty cuisine with the purchase of ChuckWagon Catering and Special Events Catering of Plymouth.
Former owner Byron Korous was the third generation owner and is looking forward to a comfortable retirement after transitioning the nearly 75-year-old company to the Di Maios.
The new owners plan to diversify the menu. People can get a little bit of everything, barbecue, Italian fare or fine dining.
“We have all the Italian pasta. We have all homemade sauces, and then we have the ChuckWagon, that is a 73-year-old company with the same barbecue. So we have ribs, we have a pig roast, all the rubs are homemade, barbecue sauce is homemade, baked beans and special events is a little bit more upscale,” said Cathy Di Maio.
On Saturday they have an annual open house from 1 to 3 p.m. The owners are roasting a pig and serving up their famous pizza. You can check out their website here: http://mncatering.com
