New Fitness Studio F45 to Open in Maple Grove Despite Supply-Chain Issues
For new fitness studio owner Jason Noeldner, it’s been quite the long haul to get things up and running at F45 in Maple Grove.
CCX News spoke with Noeldner as he expected a large shipment to arrive — one that he had been waiting three months for.
“It’s all of our equipment and a lot of the materials to finish our build-out in the studio,” he said.
F45 holds its grand opening Saturday after the unexpected waiting game.
“Supply-chain issues for sure,” Noeldner said.
But Noeldner calls the long wait a welcome blessing as people usually begin new routines in the fall.
“I think it’s a moment of great opportunity personally,” he said. “I think we’re all kind of not past COVID, but I think mentally people are very ready to get out, see other people, socialize.”
And people are ready to get back into shape too.
“I think this is a perfect answer for them where they want to see other people who are like-minded and want to get into shape or back into shape and just socialize a bit more and get out,” he said.
F45: functional training in 45 minutes
F45 is a group fitness program being done all around the world and spreading fast in Minnesota. F stands for functional, 45 is 45 minutes.
“We have circuit training so it’s kind of follow the leader through a bunch of different stations and it’s a HIIT-style workout, so high-intensity interval training.
“So you stay at stations for about 40 seconds and do a bunch of work and move onto the next one. It’s really awesome, two coaches, they make sure you’re safe, having fun, and engaged with the the rest of the team. At the end of the day you leave having fun feeling great.”
F45’s grand opening Saturday features two Hollywood-style classes that include a live DJ.
