New Xfinity Store Opens in Brooklyn Center
A new Xfinity store opened in Brooklyn Center Thursday that offers a variety of mobile and smart home devices. There’s also a store in the works for Maple Grove.
A ribbon cutting ceremony kicked off business at the new Xfinity store. The store is located in the former Brookdale Mall shopping area, which continues to be revitalized.
The outlet will sell Comcast equipment, cable and internet packages, as well as smart home devices that work with the Comcast network. Sales will also focus on the company’s new venture into mobile device goods and services.
Part of the ceremony included the company donating $2500 to local nonprofit CEAP.
“Having a program that works to create and revitalize people is amazing,” said Rachel Johnson, the director of retail sales. “They are the perfect partner to work with us in Brooklyn Center.”
The store’s official grand opening is Saturday with food trucks and fun. To learn more about the store, click here.
