Neighbors Form ‘Maple Grove Giving Connection’ to Help Others

A group of Maple Grove residents have bonded together to help one another. Taya Brodin created a Facebook group called Maple Grove Giving Connection where people can connect to help others.

“I just don’t feel like we should have any people out there who don’t know where their next meal will come from, or any children out there who have shoes that don’t fit their feet or any of our displaced members of our community who just need a gas card to get through the night to keep themselves warm,” said Brodin. “We have more than enough. Most of our residents have more than enough. It’s just a matter of getting the supply and the people who give to make the connection with the people who are in need. That’s the whole concept. Just to make it easier to give and connect to people.”
