Maranatha Students Pack 35,000 Meals
Maranatha Christian Academy held its 7th annual Meals for Minneapolis Outreach and Fundraiser on Friday.
Students packed 35,000 meals that will be delivered to local food shelves.
“This time of the year, it ramps up at local food shelves. Believe it or not, the need for food is a ton of people right? People need food, especially this time of the year and they go to food shelves. Even your neighbors or people you may not realize, they’re looking for extra help,” said Corey Bianchi-Rossi, Maranatha Christian Academy Director of Advancement.
About 700 students took part in Friday’s mission.
Over the last 6 years, students packed more than 130,000 meals.
