Maple Grove’s OMNI Brewing Plans Renovation
Significant changes are on the way for a Maple Grove brewery. OMNI Brewing Co. is renovating its Maple Grove location and is getting into something new.
Thankful for surviving the pandemic’s toll, co-owner Zack Ward says things are going so well now, the business is adding a new taproom in Rosemount.
“We bought four and a half acres of land and are building our next taproom,” said Ward.
It won’t be just beer at the Rosemount venue. Customers will be able to sip on wine and cider at the new spot.
“We’ll also be making wine in the back in addition to barrel aging some beer,” explained Ward.
OMNI Brewing is also renovating its Maple Grove taproom. The business is knocking down walls and creating a canning and packaging area. Ward says the makeover and new business venture wouldn’t have happened without its loyal customers during the height of the pandemic.
“I will never forget the support we had when we first shut down last year when we first shut down,” said Ward. “We have never filled so many growlers in our life, and that show of support gives me goosebumps just talking about it right now.”
OMNI is hosting what it calling a “Hibernation Party” on Dec. 18. It will feature limited-edition beers, as well as new growlers. Customers will also be able to purchase gift packages.
