Maple Grove Receives Grant to Clean Up Dry Cleaning Site
A seven thousand-foot commercial development is coming to Maple Grove. But there’s a chore that has to be done first. The new building will be on Grove Drive near the Cub Foods on the site of a former dry cleaning business. It will house a bank and a cafe.
Before it’s built, the site needs to be cleaned up from the dry cleaning store. The city got a grant from the Met Council’s Tax Base Revitalization Account. The $36,400 will help cover the costs of decontaminating the site.
