Crime Stoppers Partner with Maple Grove Police
Maple Grove Police hope to solve more cases through a new partnership with the nonprofit Crime Stoppers of Minnesota.
Crime Stoppers has worked with Maple Grove in the past, but this is the first year the police department officially partnered with the organization.
Crime Stoppers has been in MN for more than 40 years. The program allows people to submit tips anonymously online, over the phone or through an app. If the tip leads to a felony arrest, the person could get an award up to $1,000.
Police say Crime Stoppers receives about 150 tips a year in Minnesota.
