Maple Grove Police Say Shooting Was “An Accident”
Maple Grove Police say the shooting in the parking lot of Famous Dave’s on March 16 was an accident. The woman told police the shooting was “an accident,” however there’s still a warrant out for Marcel McCabe, 26, for reckless discharge of a weapon.
The incident happened on Saturday, March 16. Police say a woman in her 20s was shot and then driven to nearby Maple Grove Hospital with a man authorities have been trying to locate. The victim’s injuries were serious enough that she was unable to speak to investigators for a period of time. The woman now tells police that the shooting was an accident.
Police are still looking for the man who drove the woman to the hospital and is considered a person of interest. 26-year-old Marcel McCable is wanted for reckless discharge of a weapon.
