Maple Grove Lions, Firefighter Relief Org. Create Holiday Baskets for 40 Years
The Maple Grove Lions and the Maple Grove Firefighter Relief Association assembled food holiday baskets for the 40th year.
The two groups donated $26,000 with the help from Cub Foods. They managed to help the same number of families with about one-third of the volunteers helping because of social distancing.

“Everyone did double or triple duty to meet distance and max capacity due to COVID,” said Kristy Barnett, with Maple Grove Lions.
The organizations assembled 156 baskets for families in need and sent the remaining food to CROSS Services.
